Lauren and Markie
Lauren Ash-Morgan, actress and member of SSC's board from 2011 is the Founding co-artistic director of the new theatre firm Speech of Fire. She has been the artistic director for Seoul Shakespeare Company from 2014 to the year 2019. As the Artistic Director for SSC she was also the company's producer costume/set designer writer/music director as well as a text coach. In her role, she is usually the leader of her ensembles, her first directing role was as part of SSC King Lear. Alongside acting, she's been associated with several game programs. Daughter of the poet Marylee Post and scientist Richard F. Post she was raised along with two other children at Walnut Creek. She was a student at Las Lomas High School where she was a cheerleader. After a brief stint at Pomona College, she graduated from Lewis & Clark College. Post was previously married to Stephen Knox. Michael A. Ross (actor/writer) is Post's husband since 1982. The couple is blessed with two daughters. Post inspires numerous Hollywood actors since she's an outstanding actress, as well as an ideal mother and wife.
