Lauren Ash-Morgan, actress and member of SSC's board from 2011 is the Founding co-artistic director of the new theatre firm Speech of Fire. She has been the artistic director for Seoul Shakespeare Company from 2014 to the year 2019. As the Artistic Director for SSC she was also the company's producer costume/set designer writer/music director as well as a text coach. In her role, she is usually the leader of her ensembles, her first directing role was as part of SSC King Lear.
